On June 24th, 2014, Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta held its second annual brewery event when we gathered for good at Orpheus Brewing! The evening was a great success with over 165 volunteers, clients, friends and supporters in attendance.
Orpheus Brewing is in close proximity to several PBPA clients such as Atlanta BeltLine Partnership and Operation PEACE, and we took the opportunity to highlight clients and accomplishments with signage throughout the venue. Atlanta’s newest microbrewery served up tastings of their beers while attendees enjoyed acoustic guitar from local musician John Lawson. Guests also had the opportunity to support a Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta client in a delicious way. People’s Food Truck, operated by the nonprofit City of Refuge, was on-hand serving delicious bites such as wood roasted corn on the cob and warm chicken tacos.
Despite the rain, PBPA’s supporters came out in full force to champion our mission of providing free legal assistance to nonprofits that serve low-income or disadvantaged individuals. Thank you to everyone who joined us in gathering for good!
